- The success of the category has been led by major TV, Film and Music franchise brands such as; Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, High School Musical, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Top Gear, Now! That's what I call a Music Quiz, Family Fortunes and Little Britain.
- 2006: Deal or No Deal became the first DVD to reach Number 1 in the overall UK DVD chart and sold 1 million copies during the holiday period.
- The DVD game category has generated £120 Million (Over $200 million) retail sales in Home Entertainment in the UK since launch in 2003.

US Market
